In the Blossom
In the Blossom
• What do you imagine? What happens when you sleep? As a child I was fascinated with the story of Calineczka ( polish for Thumbelina) - she was born in the blossom of a flower. I am not sure how I jumped from that into a phantasy about us being in the blossom of a flower when we sleep. It just sounded so magical to me and the child in me was just happy trusting that I am becoming prwttier and better in my sleep.
Later - I started seeing how it relates more to the renewing and rebirth. In Christianity we are ultimately reborn by the Spirit of God, but before that the seed must fall on the good soil. It will bear fruit in its right time. If the seed falls between rocks or weeds - it dies. But the good soil - there is a blossom and there is a fruit.
